Aspiring gov't execs beat deadline for qualifying test
Bacolod City -- More than 100 government employees from this province recently beat the deadline to take written Civil Service Commission (CSC) Career Executive office Examination slated June 10.
The Career Executive Officer (CEO) Examination is the unified examination system for the third level of government service composed of four stages: written exam, assessment, interview (optional) and validation.
Passing the four-stage CEO examination shall result to the grant of both the CEO eligibility by the CSC and the Career Executive Service (CES) eligibility by the CESB.
"The CEO eligibility shall be appropriate for appointment to executive or managerial third level position not covered by the CES while eligibility shall be appropriate for appointment to CES positions," a guideline from CSC says.
The examination was open to government employees who are occupying second level positions with salary grade 18 and above, those occupying third level and comparable positions.
It is also the uniformed service of the public safety sector with the rank of at least Senior Inspector or its equivalent and from other uniformed services of comparable rank and Armed Forces of the Philippines officers with a rank of captain or higher.
