The Binhi School of Creative Arts and Crafts is a charity project for the poor children and youth of Barangay Banago, Bacolod City who are willing to spend their extra time in art making.
“We had a hard time during our first few years. We needed to bring noodles or bread so that the children will listen to us. There were times when they threw stones at us but we continued with what we have started.”
The Iloilo National High School Class '59 headed by their class valedictorian Engr. Aurora Homena Alerta-Lim, held its Golden Jubilee celebration last April 3 and 4, 2009.
Three Ilonggos showcased their artworks at the Museo Negrense of De La Salle University, Bacolod City recently. They were Ed Defensor, Pierre Patricio and Harry Mark Gonzales.
