‘Ghost’s visit’ frightens family members
A practical joke, a real ghost visit, or an upsetting tactic?
Either way, the incident of writings written on blood was not a welcome episode for members of the Nobleza family of Don Francisco Village in Jaro, Iloilo City.
At around 2:30 a.m. yesterday, some members of the family went near-hysterical after seeing Glorifel Nobleza shouted for help upon entering their comfort room.
It was gathered that some of the house occupants just went home after coming from their family-owned computer shop business.
As Glorifel entered the comfort room, there was a note written in blood stating: “Erna, alagaan mo ang mga kabataan.”
The “writer” identified himself as Talo, Glorifel’s father.
The Erna referred to apparently pointed to Erna Edge, Talo’s sister who was married to a foreigner.
However, the family noted that Talo died some five years ago.
According to Erna, they also saw a picture with Talo and some other family members. Another also bore the faces of Mary Ann, their cousin, with some other kin.
Notable was the fact that the faces of Talo and Mary Ann, who died two years ago because of cancer, were covered with blood.
This further sent panic among Edna and the younger members of their family.
But a possible ghost visit became doubtful after they saw droplets of blood from the sala going to the kitchen.
At the kitchen’s lavatory, there were some medical plastic strips.
Glorifel also said that someone also held her hand.
But most likely, Edna hinted, that it was not a ghost.
Several hours later, the house occupants pointed to Jeffrey Nobleza as the possible man who entered their house.
Jeffrey, Edna’s brother and Glorifel’s uncle, also lived in the same village.
However, police investigators are not privy to the possible motive why Jeffrey would want to scare his own family.
The suspect vehemently denied any involvement to the incident.
When a checked was made, Jeffrey also did not bear any wound.
As this developed, the incident was referred to the Iloilo City Women and Children’s Protection Desk for investigation.
