National Youth Awards promotion in Iloilo City
The National Youth Commission will be holding a promotional event at the SM City Iloilo, Lower Ground Floor beside Forever Flawless, at 2 p.m. on June 16.
This is the first promotional event in Visayas, an area known to produce excellent youth organizations which have made a big impact on their communities through their varied programs.
Representatives of Region VI-based youth organizations who have reached the National Finals will be present at the event to encourage the youth audience to take part in community service and vie for a TAYO award in the future.
Expected to attend the event are NYC Ex-Officio Commissioner and SK National Federation President Jane Censoria D. Cajes; Ms Lucita Villanueva, Unit Head of the Community Service Program of DSWD Field Office VI; Dr. Ariel Valencia, DOH Regional Director; and SM City Iloilo Assistant Mall Manager, Engr. Gilbert Domingo.
Inspirational messages and testimonials will also be said by a selected representative from TAYO 1 winner Kabataang Gabay sa Positibong Pamumuhay (KGPP) and TAYO 7 national finalist Special Education Students Association (SPEDSA).
