Fifteen low-lying barangays in the district of Jaro became flooded over the weekend after heavy rains and strong winds brought by Typhoon Jolina hit Iloilo City.

Residents living near the bank of Jaro river were on alert last Saturday and Sunday after the water level went up due to incessant heavy rains brought by typhoon Jolina.
