It was the night when the skies of Roxas City was literally lit up by the spectacular fireworks competition that capped the last day of the CAPIZtahan 2009 celebration commemorating the 108th Foundation Day Commemoration of the Civil Government of Capiz.
Twenty outstanding women of Iloilo City were recognized and were given awards during The Outstanding Women of Iloilo (TOWIL) 2009 held at SM City Iloilo last March 30, 2009. They are those who excelled in the different fields of practice and endeavors.
Bikers from the municipality of Leganes and their friends from Iloilo City and Guimaras, joined in the Bike Fun Ride held one Sunday. The ride started from the Leganes Pavilion, included some barangays as well as the coastal areas of Dumangas and back to the local municipality again.
